  • Customer service: respond to enquiries by email and live chat, resolve issues and keep a record of our conversations.
  • Marketing and advertising: send promotional emails and text messages (where you have opted in or we are permitted to), measure which campaigns work, and show you relevant ads on Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest and other websites, including based on products you viewed or left in your cart.
  • Improve our website and range: analyse how the site is used, test changes and understand which products customers want.
  • Security and fraud prevention: verify orders and payments and detect and prevent fraud, abuse or unlawful activity.
  • Legal obligations: meet tax, accounting, consumer law and customs requirements, and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

Legal bases (UK and EEA customers)

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (orders and delivery); our legitimate interests (fraud prevention, website improvement, and marketing to existing customers); your consent (marketing emails and texts, and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

Who we share your information with

We only share personal information as needed for the purposes above. Recipients include:

  • Shopify (our store platform, checkout, hosting, Shopify Inbox live chat and related tools) and our payment providers, who process payments and help detect fraud.
  • Delivery and logistics partners such as Australia Post, DHL and other carriers, to deliver your order and provide tracking.
  • Global-E, which supports our international checkout for customers outside Australia. Global-E handles international pricing, duties and taxes, payment, shipping and returns for those orders and processes your information under its own privacy notice.
  • Email, SMS and customer service tools we use to send order updates and marketing and to manage customer enquiries (including Gmail and Shopify Inbox).
  • Advertising and analytics partners including Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Pinterest. These providers use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to measure advertising performance and show relevant ads, and handle information under their own privacy policies.
  • Professional advisers, regulators and authorities where required by law, and a purchaser or successor if our business is sold or restructured.

We do not sell your personal information for money. In the past 12 months, we have shared device identifiers, browsing activity and purchase activity with the advertising and analytics partners listed above for the purposes of cross-context behavioural advertising and analytics, which some US state laws treat as "sharing" or "targeted advertising".

Cookies, pixels and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, keep the site secure, measure traffic, and measure and personalise advertising. This includes the Google tag, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and Pinterest Tag. You can:

  • change your cookie choices using the cookie or privacy banner on our site (where shown);
  • block or delete cookies in your browser settings (some features, such as the cart, may then not work);
  • manage ad personalisation in your Google, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest account settings; and
  • use a Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as an opt-out of sale/sharing where required by law.

Marketing emails and text messages

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, and from text messages by replying STOP. We will still send you essential messages about your orders and account. Our email and text marketing complies with applicable spam and marketing laws, including the Australian Spam Act 2003.
