Shipping Policy at a glance
OWNLEY ONLINE ships from Sydney, Australia, to Australia, New Zealand, the USA, the UK and many other countries.
- Dispatch: orders placed before 8am (Sydney time) are dispatched the same day, subject to possible delays. Otherwise orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days, with an extra 1-2 business days possible during busy periods.
- Australia: Standard $10.00 (2-8 business days) or Express $12.00 (1-3 business days). Free standard shipping on orders over $200 AUD and free express shipping on orders over $300 AUD.
- International: shipped by DHL Express in 2-9 business days, with free shipping above a minimum order value for New Zealand, the USA and the UK (see the table below). Duties and taxes are calculated at checkout, with no surprises or hidden fees when your order arrives.
- Delivery times are counted from the dispatch date, not the order date.
- Tracking details are sent to you by email once your order ships.
Dispatch
Orders placed before 8am (Sydney time) on a business day are dispatched the same day, subject to possible delays. All other orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days of being placed. Orders placed during busy periods, such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, other sales and the Christmas period, may take an additional 1-2 business days to dispatch. During busy sale periods we cannot guarantee that cancellations, address changes or other changes can be made once an order is placed. If you need your order by a particular date, email info@ownley.online before ordering and we will do our best to help.
Our online store processes orders from Sydney, Australia. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in New South Wales.

Estimated delivery times are counted from the date your order is dispatched, which may not be the date it was ordered, and they are estimates only. Delivery can take longer to regional and remote areas and during busy periods. The shipping cost for your order is always shown at checkout before you pay.
Tracking and multiple parcels
Tracking details are sent to you by email via Australia Post or Shippit for Australian orders, and via DHL for international orders. If you order multiple items, they may ship from different locations and arrive separately.
Pre-order items
Pre-order items are products that are not yet in our warehouse and are available for advance purchase in limited quantities. Estimated shipping dates are shown on the product page. You are charged at the time of ordering, just as with a standard purchase, and your item is dispatched as soon as stock arrives. You will receive a separate email once your pre-order item ships. If you order both a pre-order item and an in-stock item, the in-stock item ships first and the pre-order item ships separately when it is available. Delivery timelines may change because of factors beyond our control.
International delivery
International orders are placed through our international checkout, which is operated for us by a third-party international checkout partner. Prices are shown in your local currency, and shipping, duties and taxes are calculated for your destination at checkout before you pay.
No surprises at the border. Duties and taxes are calculated at checkout in accordance with the country your order is being shipped to, so there are no surprises or hidden fees when your order arrives. Duties and taxes are non-refundable.
- International orders are shipped by DHL Express.
- Delivery may be delayed by customs clearance, which is outside our control.
- Once an international parcel has left us it is in DHL's care, so please contact DHL first about any delivery issue and contact us at info@ownley.online if you need help.
- International return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are calculated in our international returns portal. We do not currently offer international exchanges. See our Returns Policy for details.
Free shipping
Free shipping applies automatically at checkout when your order total, after any discounts have been applied, meets the minimum for your location shown in the table above. Free shipping offers cannot be applied to orders that have already been placed.
Delivery address and missed deliveries
Please check your delivery address carefully at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delayed or lost because of an incorrect or incomplete address. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was wrong or it was not collected, we will contact you, and you may need to pay to have it sent again.
Lost, delayed or missing parcels
Once a parcel has left us, it is in the care of Australia Post, Shippit or DHL. If your order is delayed, lost or marked delivered but has not arrived, please check your tracking and contact the carrier first, then email us at info@ownley.online with your order number and we will help. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Christmas order-by dates
To give your order the best chance of arriving before Christmas, please order by these dates (end of day, Sydney time). We do not dispatch on weekends or public holidays.

These dates are a guide only and Christmas delivery is not guaranteed. Regional and remote areas need extra time, and delivery can be delayed by carrier volumes, weather and customs clearance. Orders placed after these dates will still be dispatched as normal, but may arrive after Christmas. During busy periods, dispatch may take an additional 1-2 business days.
Busy periods
During Black Friday, Cyber Monday and other sales, dispatch and delivery times may be longer than usual.
Returns and exchanges
Our Returns Policy explains how to return an item, including how to buy a return label in our Returns Portal. Items bought at a sale or discounted price are final sale and cannot be returned for a refund or store credit. We may be able to exchange them for a different size or colour, pending availability.
